Larry The Garage Door Guy

BEWARE FELLOW CONSUMERS:
On December 16, 2021 I called "Larry the garage door guy" as a result of a malfunctioning garage door. Wow, "Larry" showed up the very same day and assessed the malfunction to be the spring mechanism and that the Chamberlain door opener was fine.
With a $100 cash deposit (parts) "Larry" promised to have the door fixed by Christmas.
Well Christmas came and went and after several follow-up calls, somebody other than "Larry" finally showed up on January 15, 2022. This individual COULD NOT finish the repair that day. On top of which when closing, the top panel of the garage door hit hard a bracket that he installed causing damage to the door itself. He could not get the door to close all the way to the floor, "swearing" that he would come back on Monday to complete the job to include grinding down that bracket.
I paid via e-transfer another $200, holding back $100 from the original quote.
I guess by now you all know where this is going.
NOBODY showed up the following Monday. Zero communication from this company. When I finally reached the individual to whom I sent the e-transfer to and presented several options to include at the very least a partial refund, I was effectively told to F/O, notwithstanding many, many, many pics and videos of the process and damage that these folks caused.
So a few words to consumers out there regarding this company - UNSCRUPULOUS, INCOMPETENT, MORALLY AND ETHICALLY BANKRUPT.
The good news, however, it's people like this who keep Small Claims Court in business,
