Permit from town oct 2016: job started in Nov 2016 and completed in 2018 by my husband. Hired Clint (Set N Stone, Tile Freak, King tile Canada) to remove a low bearing wall and insert a beam. We had drawings completed for him to follow. He put up the beam but did not support it properly. The town came 3 times, and it failed each time. Clint was always aware of when the town was coming and did not attend, he assured us each time that it would pass. It took well over a year for this beam to finally pass as my husband had to complete the job in the end. Clint and his team failed with this job as per the town and the cost was 3500
2 tile instal /heated flooring for 1000 sq foot of our main floor. This started in 2017......The grout started to crack shortly after it being put down. No heating on, or no load put on tiles for this to happen. We have cracked grout throughout the main level of our home. He assured me it would be fix as soon as it started to occur shorty after being put down and continued to until our last form of communication in July/Aug 2018. He still has not completed this task.
3. March 2017: While doing the flooring they flooded our main floor and caused damage into the basement, they did not hire fans, remove drywall or pay for damages that resulted. It took a long time for them to finally come and take the drywall down. Clint assured me while on holiday for three weeks that the remaining tile would be put down in our living area and kitchen area and he would make it right for the damage the occurred in the basement. He called us the day before leaving our three week vacation, that he did not do anything while we were away.
We paid him an extra 1500 as a courtesy to try and fix the remming teams i.e. put drywall up to cover the beam, prime the drywall and fix the cracks on the floor and the uneven tile that was laid. Clint assured us it would be fixed, 2017--currently still waiting. Still waiting for him to fix the grout, he doesn't return texts.
We paid him a lot of money and he would take on various other jobs and always leave ours unfinished.

He has images there from our old home that he did not do (my husband did the work in the kitchen, and the flooring of the basement etc however clint took credit for this work and placed them on his account.
He has images on houzz that shows his work, but in fact it was my husband that did the work and he is taking credit for it.
