Herc Du Soleil

We chose Gopal at Herc Du Soleil for our solar project after looking at his exceptional Homestars reviews and getting quotes from a couple solar providers. He provided a very thorough quote in a timely fashion, and his was very competitive.
Gopal was very responsive to texts and emails throughout, often responding late in the evening or on weekends. We got a new standing seam metal roof installed at the same time, and he was fabulous at coordinating parts of the installation process with the roofing job, as well as finding new technology to allow installation to occur with low profile and with no fittings piercing the metal roof, thanks to S5 Clamp technology. With a couple months delay between quoting the project and being able to get it going after getting permits in order, slightly higher powered panels were available and he upgraded the project to those without changing the price.
He and his workers did a great job installing the solar panels in the middle of a cold snap, working for about 8 hours straight on a cold day to get all 22 panels installed in one day, which was more time-consuming than usual due to them not simply installing on a rack system as usual.
He personally worked a few hours on another day to install the inverter in our garage, and even carefully cut some plywood of ours to cover up the studs and insulation where the inverter needed to be installed (location of a former window). The installation was clean and he worked with us to get the internet link up and running with our router for monitoring and maintenance.
He and his electrician spent one more day to get the disconnect installed and the system hooked into the main panel.
After the system was brought online, we noted some spikes in the power generation with a few periods where production would drop off during mid-day when we'd expect top production, even on sunny days. I emailed Gopal who said he'd keep an eye on it, and from that day, production was excellent. He had upgraded the software and worked with SolarEdge tech support to adjust parameters on the inverter to avoid some power surges from Toronto Hydro from causing the inverter to shut off at times.
His responsiveness, knowledge and work ethic are exceptional, and Gopal and Herc Du Soleil come with my highest recommendation.
