Our team faced a couple of challenges at the destination address. These challenges were made aware to you on-site. Firstly, our goal is to park as close to the loading zone as possible. In this situation, we had to park on the other side of a bike path. To ensure everyone's safety while handling your contents, the team had to ensure there were no oncoming bikers. Secondly, the elevator was small, and we could only fit one large piece of furniture or a limited amount of boxes at a time. This increased the loading time due to the extra trips up and down the elevator.
Unfortunately, the elevator was smaller than expected, and the loading zone was not as optimal as we had hoped. This is why it is mentioned in the estimate and contract that the hours at the end of the day will be adjusted. All our rates include a minimum of 2 men, a truck, gas, and mileage. There are no hidden fees and our hourly fee is 100% guaranteed with a written quote. Whether it is a piano or packing whatever you require our team will be equipped to do it. We bill by the hour with a 2 hour minimum with 1 hour travel time, which covers 30 mins to the site and 30 mins back to the site. Example: Final Invoice will be hours worked from start to finish plus 1 hour travel time.
