I contacted Stefan and White Eagle to do some finishing work for my home renovation. He installed baseboards and casing as well as built up a support base in the front hallway for a glass railing. He looked around and noticed that the bathroom door needed to be cut down should I want to have a bathmat, which saved me a future problem and which he did for no extra cost.

I was very pleased with Stefan's work and hired him for a basement finishing package a month later, which was a much larger project. He installed baseboards, interior doors, bi-fold closets and casings. There were four doors and a number of closets. For both this and the earlier project, he came quickly to provide a quote and finished detailed estimates almost right away after measuring. He had flexibility for when he came to measure and estimate, which was extremely helpful for me. Compared to many businesses that force customers to a schedule, Stefan was mindful of what worked for me. When he looked at the project, Stefan discussed other aspects and he was eager to provide advice and give opinions. He was not up-selling and was instead actively looking for ways to save on costs or better plan the broader renovation project. Stefan was ready to start the following week and was diligent and tidy. I was once again impressed with the quality of his work. Stefan is detailed and actively looks for solutions, evidenced once again by him finding a way to install heat registers, which had been impacted by choosing taller baseboards.

One other thing I asked was if he was able to caulk the upstairs and downstairs baseboards, and door and window casings, which he said he was happy to do. This was especially surprising as he did not add on extra changes for doing this, even though the upstairs and windows were mostly installed by other companies/contractors. It's very unique that a contractor would do this, but it showed Stefan's commitment to satisfying his customers.

I have dealt with a number of contractors while renovating my house and Stefan is one of the few that I would recommend and be excited about working with in the future.
