Joshua Blais Painting

Joshua Blais Painting is my most preferred painting company. Being an interior designer for decades and a home owner for 25 years I tend to play the “site inspector”. I also appreciate the effort required to complete a successful renovation as I have wielded plenty of mud, paint, sandpaper, cement, grout, silicone (you get the idea) myself! I have never been more pleased and impressed by Joshua’s attention to detail, and work ethics which would include taking care of my home as if it were his own. I have hired him to redo/repair stipple ceilings, repair cracking lathe and plaster walls, bring life back to many rooms and to magically spruce up exterior doors and surfaces. (He painstakingly disassembled then removed oil based paint from brass window bars, polishing them to their original luster when we had expected repainting only!) From day one I trusted him to my aging relative who needed assurance through the renovation process. She was immediately comfortable with his honest manner and loved him! He has always been up front, prepares a comprehensive quotation and confidently offers suggestions where problematic site conditions present themselves. His knowledge of his trade is extensive and I would not hesitate to recommend Joshua Blais Painting again and again and again.

We required a condo (walls and trim) to be painted prior to move in. We engaged Josh after he provided a thorough estimate. Given the relatively tight timelines, Josh completed the painting effectively and efficiently to our complete satisfaction. Price was right and the condo looks great.

This review is for the second house Josh painted for us. We remodeled a 5 bedroom Tudor style house and had him in to do the painting and trimming.
Josh worked 8-4 daily, and was always on time. He kept his work space tidy and minimized any dust in the work area. He took extra steps in his patch work to ensure the paint job would look good for years.
His fitting of the trim included mitered returns that give it a finished look. The trim that he fitted and installed included baseboards, door trim with entablature, and window casing with aprons. The trim is level and evenly fitted.
Josh is very talented finish carpenter as well as an incredible painter. I have no issues recommending him for any size job.
