Sean Was my primary contractor working on my home in Montreal for many years before he relocated to Toronto.

Sadly missed as he was very trustworthy and did excellent work to schedule and reasonably priced.

I would definitely recommend him based on my experience.

After having multiple quotes on redoing my front porch I chose to go with Sean Siev at Starkey renovations. We got along great and seemed to have a shared vision. Sean did not disappoint. The project was on time and on budget. My front porch has never looked better thanks to Sean. Sean had worked for us on several occasions, doing general carpentry work, wall repair and painting, and kitchen plumbing.
He was always very professional, punctual and reliable. We were sorry to see him leave Montreal, it is difficult to find someone so competent and trustworthy as he is.

In 2012, Mr. Siev came highly recommended for the renovations my wife and i needed before putting our home up for sale in NDG. The renovations consisted of a full bathroom and basement playroom reconstruction. Sean gave us a timeline and an approximate realistic budget. He also asked us to be clear in our choices of finishing and planning so as to minimise any possible renovation ambiguity. We really appreciated that. It took Sean 3 weeks for the bathroom and another 2 weeks to finish the playroom. Everything turned out the way we hoped. I'd do it again. Thanks Sean.

We hired Sean Siev for a number of jobs throughout our 130 year old Victorian Home. The work included opening a wall and framing the opening into our living room, plastering, painting, installing plaster mouldings, renovating our rear basement including the laundry room and storage room among a number of other jobs throughout the house. Sean is extremely capable, well organized, clean, responsive, polite, and provide excellent value for the quality of the work. He is able to do a number of tasks including advanced plastering and painting, renovating, basic electrical and plumbing work and offers excellent insights on decisions with an eye on the final outcome with budget in mind. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sean Siev.

Following a flood in my basement I hired Sean Siev upon a recommendation from a friend. Sean did an excellent job demolishing and rebuilding the damaged wall. He is courteous, works in a clean orderly fashion and his crafmanship is top notch.

We hired Sean to build a large screen porch including an outside kitchen at our home. This included building and design of the new structure, electrical and plumbing work. Sean was professional in all aspects. He prides himself in the quality of his work and has great attention to detail. We do not hesitate to recommend him.

Sean has done a couple of jobs for us now; a while back he repaired a section of eavestrough at the front or our house that was starting to come loose. More recently, we hired him to repair a section of roof on the back of the house where the shingles were coming loose and the wood underneath was exposed. Sean let us know when he would be available to fix it, and he came exactly at that time. He dropped off the materials the day before, then arrived on a hot day in July to get the job done. After carefully removing the old roofing materials, he collected them in bags and took them away for disposal.
Sean worked steadily and diligently for hours in the heat that day until he had finished the entire section of compromised roofing. He did a great job and we were so happy to have it fixed! Also, he charged us a very fair price for the work. We absolutely recommend Sean to others.
