Drywall Doctor

We were referred to Paul at Drywall Doctor from another contractor. He came highly recommended and I can see why. Paul showed up on time to the job site everyday, he answered my questions promptly via telephone and email and he was able to accommodate our request for an additional service(s). He provided us options on different ways to address water damage to our ceiling. I never felt he was pushy. The work was done on time and on budget. We are very satisfied and we will use again and we would highly recommend.

I called Paul at Drywall Doctor when a general contractor left me high and dry after going broke (a story for another review). I had multiple holes and cuts in drywall that needed to be repaired, along with a stairwell that needed to be smoothed.

Paul went above and beyond - he even touched up things that we didn't include in the quote, because, and I'm paraphrasing, it was against his professional code to leave shoddy work alone. Tell me where you find that ethic these days? Paul is from the old-school mentality of trades, and I really hope he passes on his knowledge to a new generation.

Speaking of, he had a junior drywaller (Josiah, I think) with him, and he was great too - very professional. I had no problems whatsoever leaving them alone in my house.

Everything was clean and tidy between visits, and the final product looks great.

My husband and I needed a damaged ceiling repaired. It was such a relief to employ Paul and his assistant Josiah from the Drywall Doctor. Paul provided us with the best solution for dealing with this problem. He was honest and did not recommend the bigger jobs with more expense that other services suggested.
Paul and Josiah did an outstanding job...the ceiling looks new even though only part of it was replaced and it is secure.
What a pleasure dealing with such the Doctor Drywall...they have the expertise, and outstanding work ethic that they promise.

Paul and his team repaired damaged walls in 3 locations in our very old house. The walls were lathe and plaster. The workmanship was excellent. The cleanup was very good. Paul came when he said he would and finished the job on time. I would certainly recommend Drywall Doctor.

Paul responded promptly via cell to my initial request on Homestars and arrived the next day to provide a detailed and reasonable quote.
Older homes can be full of hidden ‘surprises’ lurking behind walls, so the plan to proceed with caution and with flexibility was wise. An entire wall in our den was opened up, new insulation added and then it was drywalled/primed over 3.5 days. Paul and his crew member Josiah performed excellent work, arriving on time and notifiying me of any changes in schedule. The site was cleaned and inspected upon completion. It’s not easy to find smaller companies who are patient and prepared to take on the challenges that go with heritage North TO homes.

Paul is a professional and the work was excellent. He and the Drywall Doctor team arrived on time, worked to schedule and there were no cost over runs.
