Our house was built in the 1980's and when we purchased it almost 20 years ago, everything felt fine so there were no plans for upgrades. Time really flew for us and suddenly we realized that we had not been using the deck for years due to it being "original" and absolutely unsafe. Alex answered my search for a contractor, in fact I had multiple estimates from different companies. In the end we chose to go with Alex/Pulsar Construction since he was the only contractor who educated us about bylaws and what a properly built deck should look like.
