ASAP Carpentry did a complete renovation of my basement. The best way to describe them is to say they were professional. Showed up for work early, worked fast and did a very nice job. Vapour barriers were put in properly and seams taped. Drywall was put up quick and the mudding and sanding was well finished. The finishing was excellent. Baseboards were cut on proper angles and proper length with nail holes filled nicely. Overall an excellent choice for my job. Very satisfied and would recommend them for all types of home renovations.

I booked a job with this company. They failed to show up for the original day intended. I had to chase them down to rebook. In the end, they refused to take on my work as it wasn't worthwhile for them. The job was cancelled at the last minute and was a huge waste of time.

I hired Moe to do my basement doors and baseboards. He came on time and finished the job to my satisfaction. He told me he also does IKEA kitchen installations. I contacted him in July to get a date, and he said end of month. I contacted again end of the month, and he pushed it out again to end of August. At the end of August he finally decided on Sep 6. I took the time of work and stayed at home. I messaged him a day before to reconfirm. He never responded. On the day of, I get a text message from him saying he won't be able to come. I called him, and he said he was going to send another guy but that guy called in sick. He had never mentioned to me that a different person would be coming to do my kitchen, and I mentioned this to him. He said give me a couple of hours and I will get back to you. I wait around on my day off for him, no message, no call. I finally message him around 11, to which he responds simply saying sorry for all the inconvenience, can't do your project. I asked him if he could commit to another date. No response! He did call me after reading this review. Giving him 4 points for earlier work, but all the months of waiting only for him to cancel really ruined it for me.

We hired Modestas to do all of the trim work associated with the complete renovation of our home. This included all base boards, casings, new doors throughout, custom enclosures for utilities, a fireplace surround, custom shelving and several closets. Mo does excellent work, is honest and is a pleasure to work with overall. He shows up when he says he will, works efficiently and is upfront about costs and the work. Mo also gave us a lot of good advice for dealing with all of the one-off scenarios. And he did an especially great job on the custom closets and more complicated trim work. We will definitely be using him again and would recommend him without reservation. Thanks again Mo!

I had eight 7.5 ft custom doors and wainscot trim that needed to be installed in my home. My ceilings are 11.5 ft high. I can assure you I am a finicky home owner. My father was a carpenter so I know the challenges that need to be met to reach my level of satisfaction. I met with Moe and was quite impressed with his ability to understand my concepts and make suggestions relevant to my needs. At the start of the project he was on time and did not forget any of the things we discussed or that he had promised. Moe is an easy going professional. He kept my premises clean each day and finished the project on the day he said it would be done. I made several changes to my original plans whilst he was already working and he had no problems adapting to make me happy. I would definitely use him again as I found him trust worthy and fair. He did an excellent job for sure!!

We just renovated a 6000 square foot home in Oakville, and as always, were incredibly impressed with the work of ASAP Carpentry.
My father and I have been building and renovating custom homes for 20 years and feel incredibly lucky to have found Modesto and ASAP carpentry. We have been using him for the last 4 years and refuse to use anyone else to do any of our trim work. The house we just finished was the most elaborate that we have ever built. Some of the mouldings were made up of as many as 15 different pieces that Modesto cut and fit into place seemlessly.
He comes when he says he's going to, works hard and meticulously and gets the job done beautifully in a very reasonable amount of time. He is professional, polite and very efficient, but most importantly, he listens to what we want done and gets it done right the first time.
