Deck Resurfacing / New Deck

Initially we were happy with his work, as Mike built us a decent deck.The agreement was to demolish and remove the existing deck, install a new one and stain it. Mike convinced us that he would do the demolition and installation and come back next spring to pressure wash and stain, which we were ok with and paid in full when the installation was complete.
Come spring, I tried calling him and sent several emails to schedule pressure wash and stain. I tried all means to get in touch with him, got read receipt confirmations for my messages and he just refused to respond. I had recommended his name to many of my friends and neighbors, which I regret. Though he came across as a hardworking and skilled guy, he turned out to be a dishonest and unprofessional business man. I would NOT recommend anyone do any kind of business with him.

We are very happy with our new deck and had a wonderful experience working with Mike. Our deck (12x24 in size and probably 15-20 year old) had few rotten boards and joists. We called Mike to take a look and have it repaired. He was very prompt in responding and showed up as promised to provide a quote. He provided a quote for the repair work .. however, suggested re-facing the whole deck instead of replacing few boards. Looking back, re-facing the whole deck was a good call.

The job involved the demolition and removal of existing decking boards, staircase and rails and installing new ones. Basically a brand new deck!

Mike is a very nice, skilled and creative guy and was able to offer a solution that met all of our requirements within our budget. Throughout the process, Mike was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The deck turned out to be very modern looking with a great layout and finish. At the end of the project, he cleaned up the work space, cleared all the debris and ensured it was safe. He was respectful, hardworking, detail-oriented and pleasant. We would happily recommend this company to anyone and pleased to provide a 10/10 rating to this firm.
