I hired this company to install hardwood floors in my living room and family room, the contract was signed on January 25, 2016. The floors were installed shortly after that within 5 days. Payment was made in full to the owner before they left. I was told to look things over and let them know what I wasn't satisfied with. The worker that installed the floors did return to the house to fix some of the deficiencies but said he needed to return to finish-up. I had the owner in a month ago to review the deficiencies and he agreed there were things to be fixed and he would look after it - he spent time gathering the information and recorded it but did not pass it on to the worker, I had to go through things again when he came 2 weeks ago - he did a few things but still didn't finish. After calling the contractor many times since last week with no answer - no luck reaching him no return call, I decided to call the owner to discuss the issue again. He was extremely rude and very defensive on the phone, making the issue personal and told he was voiding the warranty on the floors. It has been a very frustrating and upsetting 8 to 10 weeks trying to get this flooring job finished. The next step will be hiring another company to finish and pay more for a job I already paid in full to have done.

HI Lisa, to my defense, i realize you were upset with my employee "ROB" who is no longer with me because of lack of communication. I had asked you to contact me instead of Rob, which for some reason you still didn't contact me because you said you didn't wanna bother me, I said your not bothering me & i want to keep you happy (TRUTH) my words to you specifically was; "LISA I WILL RE DO THIS WHOLE FLOOR IF THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY" you said you didn't wanna bother ANYONE, so you were kinda creating your own egg shells, I was so sensitive to your needs but not if your yelling at me, I don't yell at any one, the whole reason of doing this business was to service the customer as best as i can, I was just confused because my ex employee never informed me that he still had to come back to re stain to make the bull nosing darker, But when you called me 2 weeks later it was a surprise and you were upset and i had not realized he had to re stain, i told him to do whatever you say because we did the bathroom & your roof as well which you were really happy with. So i always answer my phone to which my employee does not, this all could have been avoided if you contacted me instead of my employee, i still will warranty my work & will still come back but only if it's not a hostile situation, i think that's a worthy solution in my defense,your husband had called me & was explaining you were having a lot of bad things happening in your life I was very understanding to that, he was pleasant to deal with & very calm so i'm glad we corrected what you were unhappy with, sorry for any misunderstandings & i hope you can forgive the mishap & we can move forward!
Sorry for the long response but i have to defend everything i've worked so hard for, I'm doing this so i can build my mother a cottage so she can just relax for once because she's always on the go & is the hardest working person i know & has and still will help anyone even after they wouldn't help her! (TRUTH)
