Move Me Again

I will just give my experience .
I was given a quote which clearly shows 5000 pounds 3 bedrooms and a baby grand piano and a destination charge . When I was on the phone with MMA I made it clear that the quote should include the piano so that they were matched fairly against other movers . I accepted their quote and gave deposit . Later on they sent a letter of acceptance that shows extra charges like weight and other things . On this letter was also a general piano statement that I didn't even think about because of my conversations and the quote that already included the piano as an item on the top right corner of the quote .
Moving day was coming and they called and asked if they could move it up one day for their convenience and I said that they could . We adjusted our plans .
On Friday they showed up several hours late and started to load the truck . The movers were well mannered and hard working .

The next day when they showed up they would not unload until I paid the bill which looked ok on the weight charge but a $300 dollar charge was added for the piano . I obviously had no choice but to pay at the time.
long story short I was told to send a claim form and within ten day I would be given their decision .
On the form I asked for the reimbursement for the piano and for a large outdoor planter that was smashed . A month later I called them as they had not responded .
The answers were that they would use the letter of acceptance clause about piano charges to their benefit and that the 50 lbs planter was not heavy enough to be worth the 60cents a pound insurance so the destroyed planter was not compensated for .
So this is my experience . Take my experience as you will .

Before I book with them, I did some research and Move Me Again has all positive reviews, which is somehow fishy to me as I'm very suspicious. But the communication with Tara went smooth so I chose them. And they proved that they really deserve 10 star ranking. They arrived on time on the moving day, wrapped and packed all stuff carefully and efficiently. Before they left, they also helped me dump all the big garbage. The loading process was only an hour, including all wrapping. And they arrived destination an hour earlier then they estimated. Then they helped upload everything. They made my cross province moving so smooth and efficient, and most importantly, within the budget. I really recommend them to anyone who needs moving,

My husband, my son and I moved from Ottawa to St. Catharines mid-August 2017. From the time we arranged for the move with the office until the time the truck was unloaded, we had good service and were able to ask any questions or voice any concerns with satisfaction. The drivers arrived on time and loaded in a timely manner. They were polite and careful with our belongings. We would definitely use their services again.

My first impression of Move Me Again was professional, customer service oriented and helpful. From the quote process all the way through to the "move in" day was nothing short of amazing given the fact that moving can be stressful. I arranged a move for my 78 year old Mother as she was moving from Newmarket ON to St. Thomas ON and dealt with Tara. I was over the moon impressed with her customer service, knowledge and patience with me as this was actually my first time I've arranged for movers. There were only a couple of little surprises. One being that although the pick up date was adhered to, the drop off date was changed to a day later and this was done just a couple of days before my Mom's move. Everything worked out just great because I was able to make it work. The only other little surprise was that I wasn't aware that the movers would offer a "flat rate/weight" to avoid stopping at the weight station. This too worked out in the end but because I wasn't at the "pick up" location, it caused a little stress and confusion for my Sister and Mom. All in all, this was one of the best move experiences one could hope for. I would recommend Move Me Again to anyone and everyone.

Despite the negative reviews on this moving company, I had a contrast experience with Move Me Again Transportation, which was a positive and pleasant experience. The movers truly professional and quick at work.
Their pricing was very good and certainly best in the market. They were careful, efficient, and patient during packing, loading and unloading process. All of our belonging were secure and safe; I'd recommend this company for anyone looking for move

To be fair the sale representative was helpful in responding to emails and setting the dates. But the service was awful. They charged me way more than what they had offered me in their quote. There were so many hidden feeds eventhough i had asked specifically about this a few times and they had assured me that there will be no hidden charges. You will first find out about these charges on the day of moving and if you do not agree with the new cost, good lucking finding a new mover on very last day. I give you an example: one of the hidden fees is the storage fee which is around 150$. Now, if your furniture cannot be delivered on the same day bcs they dont do the same day delivery, and they need the truck so they have to unload the stuff somewhere, then the storage fee is not an optional fee! so this should appear in their quote! but, you will see this on moving day. There are so many items just like this which they do not tel you when you ask for a quote!
They did not wrap my furniture properly, I had to insist on every single item. Guess what was their response? we will not have enough blanket for next move!!! seriously?!! After long discussions, they asked us to trust them and guess what! lots of items were delivered damaged.
In our communications before the moving day, they had mentioned that we can be there when they do the scaling. However, later on the day of moving, the movers said this is not possible. I am sure I been overcharged.
On the day of delivery, they call you and tell you how much your stuff weight. If you do not believe the number is correct, they offer to rescale at the cost of 500$ deposit. If it is less than what they reported, they pay you back if not you lost 500$+labor fee and god know what other hidden fees are gonna show up on yopur bill. So you do the math! you will end up not taking the risk! and 500$ means they can overestimate your furniture by 1700lb!!! and just think how many customers end up accepting this charge bcs either they doubt if they lose more, or simply they dont have the option to reserve the elevator again or need they furniture asap, just like me!

Overall, I believe this company service is awful! yes, the sale representative is nice but she has no power on anything except for sending emails! you see new fees on moving date? no one can answer you!. There is a followup on damages items, she has absolutely no power or responsibility on that. I have so many moving experiences, yet this was the worst one! Just do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. Whatever they are making they owe it to their sale representative which can well sell their awful service.
