Legacy Windows & Doors

After deciding it was time to replace the windows in our home, we asked a friend for the name of a trustworthy company who could do a great job. Our first contact with Legacy Windows and Doors was through a consultation with Bert, who came to our home, did a complete inspection, and then sat down and thoroughly discussed various window options with us. Bert is an extremely friendly and customer driven individual who went to great lengths to make us feel very comfortable with all phases of the process. We were in contact often, with Bert giving us many follow up phone-calls and e mails to check if there were any questions throughout the estimate, ordering, or pre delivery stages. We live in a remote location, so we were expecting possible delays and problems, but were delighted to have the Legacy team arrive at our doorstep exactly when they said they would, completely organized, with high quality equipment to complete all of the work on our home. The 5 member team, after introducing themselves, were set up, and working within minutes. They worked quietly and very efficiently, all the time taking meticulous care of our home as they did so. They removed and replaced 20 windows and 3 large sliders. Because of our location, the guys stayed in our home for two nights, and treated our home, and my wife and myself, with the utmost respect. The new glass surfaces were all cleaned and polished, and the team cleaned every area of our home and driveway, prior to leaving! Our next-door neighbour told us a few days later, that he couldnt believe how nice it was to hear, and see how the team worked, as they moved around the outside of the house. He too was impressed by their expertise and friendly nature. I cant say enough about how impressed we are, through the entire process, with Legacy Windows. It is extremely easy to see that they have gone way beyond the normal operations of a company in choosing quality team members, and we are thrilled with the installation of our beautiful new windows.
The new windows have transformed the inside of our home, with the heat reduction seen with the low E glass and we couldnt be happier with them, but what is impressing us more, however, is our experience with Legacy Windows. We decided to replace the windows on the east side of our home when one started to leak during a big storm. Over the course of a couple months, we met with 3 companies to get quotes and although Legacy was not the cheapest, they stood out for their knowledgeable staff and the way they take care of their customers. This was our first major home project and so we appreciated how Legacy offered to coordinate any subsequent contractors that might be needed should our home require additional work due to water damage. Kyle proved to be great to work with, from his timely responses and clear communications, to the way he made us feel valued by offering us a few extras (like replacing a rotten sill on an unrelated window) to win our business. He also had an awareness of the various government rebates available, and made sure to quote us for configurations that ensured we were qualified, while outlining the pros, cons, and full details of our options without trying to upsell us on things we didn't need. It was a no-brainer going with Legacy for the job!

In total, the replacement of our windows took 4 days, and despite us also having our heat pumps installed at the same time, the process went very smoothly. The install crew led by Derek was friendly, courteous, and punctual. Clearly the guys have fun on the job together, and they gave us regular updates on their progress throughout the days. Of note, they also kept the job site clean and ensured the installs looked tidy, walking us through their work at the end of every day, answering our questions and addressing our concerns.

In the end, we're super happy with the work Derek and his team did and all of our communications with Legacy. From the get-go, they made us feel good about the project and at no point did it feel like we were just another sales job to them. We would not hesitate to hire Legacy again, and would highly highly recommend them to anyone looking to get new windows or doors!

We are extremely happy and impressed with our 18 new windows, one sliding patio door replacement and skylight. They are energy efficient, beautiful, have sealed out many noises from the outside and gave our house more curb appeal.

We received quotes from 6 window companies. One company even used high pressure tactics for us to sign in order to get the best price. Legacy and its team of dedicated employees takes pride in their work. Kyle and Bert are so friendly. Kyle is so knowledgeable, patient and took the time to listen to what we wanted, brought samples, presented their products, answered our questions without us feeling the pressure to buy or close the contract that same day. Alex did the final measurement and was also open to answering our questions. Carlie provided constant updates as to the project timeline. The installation crew of Nick, Cody and Matt (Mica & Josh 1st day only) were very skilled, hardworking, reliable, respectful and tried very hard to work around our schedules for minimum disruption as 5 of us work from home. From beginning to end, from sales presentation/project proposal to installation, my husband and I can only speak highly of Legacy and the best experience we had.

Bert from Legacy Windows came to give us a quote on replacing our heritage windows and was extremely helpful in exploring the options and going through the considerations on which windows to replace. Unfortunately we came to the realization that we could not afford to replace all the windows we wanted, as we had other updates that took precedence. If we come to a time when we can afford to replace the windows, we will certainly come back to Legacy Windows for their honesty, professionalism, helpfulness and unparalleled customer care.

I first contacted legacy after I saw them install a new door nearby in my complex. The sales team was good about making contact quickly and calling back at appropriate times. They talked me thru the door design I had seen (including matching previously approved colour for my strata requirement) and some small changes ages such as a different window panel. The door was ordered, a fiberglass midrange design, and the deposit easy to pay. It was almost exactly the length of time they anticipated and the door install was scheduled. The install team was courteous and communicative, and thorough. The old door was disposed of and the site cleaned up by the end of the day.

We are so pleased with the entire team at Legacy Windows; Kyle in particular, who listened patiently and offered suggestions that suited our needs. We had a big project of replacing all of the windows in our home, as well as the front door and glass panels above the door. The entire team from sales to installation were professional, personable and knowledgable. We are very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs window replacements. Our new windows and door have brightened our home.

All south facing windows needed replacement due to condensation from broken seals. Researched local companies and Legacy Windows and Doors had excellent reviews.

Legacy is a professional, dedicated, responsive, and friendly team. We asked many companies for quotes and we chose Legacy because of their wonderful reviews on google, homestar, and the best windows sales person on the market - Kyle. Carlie took care of the order processing and scheduling. Then the installation team, led by Trevor, showed up on time and finished the work smoothly. Alex came by to check the work after its done. We are dealing with a lot of contractors during renovation. Many of them gave us headaches, but not Legacy. We had a nice break when they were on site for a week. If you need new windows, look no further!

Generally excellent service and installation of fibreglass windows, good communication, follow ups and attention to details.

They went above and beyond. Their employees worked in a small area to replace my disabled son's bedroom window so we didn't have to dismantle his work space. Their quote was accurate, they finished the job in the quoted time and their work professional. Other than the beautiful new windows you would never have known they were here as they cleaned up their work space inside and out. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.
