I am so happy I found The Stucco Dr's! We recently moved into a loft in Toronto that needed popcorn ceilings removed and a fresh coat of paint. Normally we'd do this ourselves, but we have 18 ft ceilings that we couldn't come close to reaching. After calling around town and getting some very pricey estimates I found Stucco Dr. Tyler was quick to respond to my email and set up a free estimate. The pricing is very reasonable and after seeing the work his crew did, I won't hesitate to call them again when we need a good painter! The guys were pros, no doubt about it. At the end of the job Tyler came to inspect the ceilings and each wall with me to make sure everything was to my liking. I can't recommend these guys enough. Thanks again Tyler!

I recently needed the popcorn ceilings removed and a few new walls drywall done ASAP in a home I was selling. My wife and I had just bought a large 3 bedroom condo in Vaughan and we were planning on doing some work to it before we moved in (new wood floors, popcorn ceiling removal, painting, installing a light fixtures, etc.) but we needed someone that was able and willing to work around the other contractors that we hired and one who could get the job done in six days.

After receiving quotes from multiple company's, we were very impressed with Tylers attention to detail and how he took the time to explain the entire process with us. He was able to get us all of the required insurance documents for our condo board right away. Since I was at work during the day, Tyler did a great job of keeping me informed about the job progress through text and pic messages.

After the floor guy removed the floor, Tyler made a great suggestion to me about replacing the existing baseboard molding. If it wasn't for him calling me that day, our floors would not have come out looking as good as they do. This is something that he didn't even have to recommend especially since he wasn't getting paid on it. This speaks highly about high character and that at the end of the day he just wants his customers to be happy.

Needed the popcorn ceilings removed and painted at my home in King city and daughters condo in Toronto. The Stucco Dr team made the entire process as user friendly and professional as you can get. Tyler came to my house on the same day I initially called and provided a very reasonable estimate that evening. Once Stucco Dr was selected, they provided the necessary insurance for the condo board at my daughters condo very quickly. My wife and I were able to continue to live at our home with minimal distraction as the stucco dr crew scraped, painted, applied touch-ups and cleaned up what turned out to be a very thorough and outstanding job.

Mustafa and crew did a great job on my popcorn ceilings on the main floor (approx. 500sf). The work was done on time as originally estimated. He is one of the friendliest guys you'll meet. He is an honest man and told me to get my potlights done before bringing him in to fix up the ceilings so that they come out perfect even though it would be a little more difficult for him.

He was reasonably prompt in returning phone calls and giving status updates. During the initial walkthrough, he noticed the walls and the baseboards were in bad shape and offered to patch them up at an extra cost. In the end, the baseboards came out pretty nice and the walls were patched up to my satisfaction. He even helped to patch a large water damaged spot near my shower that I told him that he didn't need to do. I can tell he's a meticulous person because of the quality of the work.

However, I am deducting a star for 2 reasons: 1) He left my house key with his partner and I was unable to get it back for 3 days after the job was complete; 2) Before I signed him on to do the job, he stated he was going to use Benjamin Moore ceiling paint. Afterwards, I asked him what paint he used because I needed to fix up my painting miscues, he said he used Para instead because he was price matching another contractor for me. I would've preferred that he told me up front but at least he told me when I asked.

All in all, despite the lost star, I would still highly recommend Mustafa and his team to anyone looking to remove popcorn ceilings.
