I hired Catling Construction last December to renovate my kitchen. I’ve lived with it for over two months now, and I still get goose bumps every time I walk in! I cannot believe how completely transformed it is, and how beautifully everything was done! Ryan truly is a Master Carpenter, in every sense. When he first came over to discuss the reno, we really had no idea what we wanted. We had no dishwasher, and very limited cabinet space, and everything was stuffed to the brim. Ryan made a few suggestions, and helped us create a space that worked for us. By the time he was done, not only did I have my dishwasher, but we tripled the amount of cabinetry, without having to tear down walls to make a bigger room. Ryan has an incredible knowledge of what he’s doing, and he made sure to keep me informed on absolutely everything he did, explaining it all along the way. (I’m still impressed that he knows the correct term for literally everything to do with construction – even the little grooves on a screw – who knew there was an actual name!!! ) He was meticulously clean, which was important as we have two small children. We were concerned they could be injured with tools, nails or debris, but every day, no matter the mess, Ryan left it in a contained, safe state. He was able to address all our concerns, and was flexible with all the last minute changes we wanted to make. And I trusted him. He completely put my husband and I at ease with his calm demeanour, and he kept his word on every time allotment and expense. To be able to trust someone that was coming to my house every day to dismantle my kitchen, was something I truly appreciated. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you so much for a job well done!

Thank you for this wonderful, detailed review! It was a pleasure working with you and your lovely family on your kitchen renovation. I'm also very pleased with how it turned out. Ha ha, yes there is quite the carpentry lexicon! I definitely appreciate questions throughout a project as I think it's important that home owners understand the 'why's and 'how's of home renovation. Also, there may come a day when you need to know that screws have 'threads'! ;) Thanks again!
