ValaHome managed and executed our kitchen renovation a year ago. The work was performed by ValaHomeImprove and a team of professionals on time and within budget. The project management aspect was incredible as we only had 2 "down days" with no activity over a period of 7 weeks! This is a very impressive coordination feat.
The work was of high quality, no shortcuts with professional grade materials. Any issue arising during the project (there always are in a project of this magnitude) was researched and discussed with us so we were always up to date with progress, delays or changes in the project.
ValaHomeImprove proved to be very professional, flexible and accountable.

We hired Vala Home Improvements to renovate our kitchen, powder room and front hall. Richard has excellent engagement skills, a mind for meticulous detail and clear planning. We can't recommend him highly enough. 
We have never worked with a general contractor before, but are excited to work with Vala Home Improvements again. It was a positive experience from start to finish. If ever a problem arose, Richard attended to it right away and resolution was achieved as quickly as possible. Also, there was great attention paid to preparing our home for the reno and cleaning-up every day after work was completed. We always felt included, respected and on top of the process. Richard has a shrewd mind for detail, common sense, and professionalism. We knew what payments were necessary, when they were due, and which professional workers were coming to our home. A complete success in every way!

Project was completed in Fall 2014. Vala’s team of professionals did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. Thorough, on-time and on budget.
