A terrific job

Posted June 10, 2019 - In May, we hired Wooly's to insulate our attic. We haven't had any really hot days since then, and of course, no wintry days. Even so, we know that it will all make a huge difference. Our 50-yr old home is a 4-level back split.

The last insulation was done "very quickly" about 10 years ago. We recall that that person simply blew the fibreglass through the attic opening and didn't actually go INTO the attic. We didn't know that he should have gone inside. That left bare gaps along all of the sides of our attic. And uneven insulation, too. We have even had some mold in the outside corner of 2 upper bedroom closets. Little wonder.

Conversely, Cory from Wooly's, went right into the attic and spent a lot of time making sure that everything was checked and done correctly e.g. Baffles were added to keep the outside edges of insulation intact. And, our fan ducting from the main bathroom had come loose from the outside roof vent, and so, that was thankfully noticed and fixed by Cory. An R factor of about 50 was achieved. It is now nice and deep. And very level.

Jason competently did the outside work and Greg (the owner) assisted Cory. All 3 men were neat, organized and very careful. As well, all were pleasant and professional. Greg was responsive to my initial phone calls. And even before he knew we would hire his company, he explained their services patiently and never pushed us to hire them.

By the way, I have never seen anyone as passionate about his work and his company as Greg is! This man loves a job well done.

We would 100% trust this company and would recommend Wooly's to anyone. Helen and Ed K, Burlington ON

p.s. UPDATE - July 19/19 - Yesterday AM, a hot day, I fully turned off our AC (set at 24 C) at breakfast b/c the vent was blowing on my feet. I forgot to turn it on again until about 5 pm and was delighted to see that the temp had only risen 1 degree to 25 C. Before we had the new insulation, we would have definitely known within a couple of hours that the A/C was turned off. What a nice surprise. Great job, Greg and Cory!
