WOW 1 DAY PAINTING York & Durham Region

WOW! Yes, that word perfectly describes how Big Brothers Big Sisters of York feels after we experienced the wonderful and philanthropic paint brushes and upbeat attitudes of the WOW team!
Kim and his awesome painters wanted to GIVE BACK to their community. Knowing that there was a need for the their talent, but uncertain of where to start, they reached out to Aurora’s Mayor Dawes for guidance. And that is where our wonderful WOW story began!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of York is a not for profit organization that is in the business of mentoring children and youth through the support of some very incredible volunteers.
We are a national organization that has been hard at work for over 100 years, and although our office is not as old as that, our walls were certainly tired and drab. They did very little to reflect the upbeat, and positive message we want to convey to our clients and our volunteers. They do now!!!!!
We are thrilled to have a beautiful interview room, a conference room, and an activity room, with walls that delightfully shout ‘hello and welcome’. We even have a bright and happy bathroom!
As thrilled as we were with our new look, the greatest gift from WOW was Kim’s humbling and overwhelming offer to paint several rooms in the home of one of our clients. It is truly difficult to speak of this heartwarming gesture without tearing up.
The expectations that one would have of a painting company entering a place of business or home, were delivered. The WOW team, was prompt, their communication was solid, and they were kind, and courteous. At every turn they were professional. They were patient, and understanding, with great team spirit and a wonderful, collective sense of humour. They had a desire to make some magic happen for our clients and for our place of work. They far surpassed our expectations.
