Gv Renovations

Working with Guy was hands down our worst experience with a contractor. The time frame doubled from his original quote, our house was a constant disaster and he would leave it that way between visits. We wanted this job done above the table and we found out months later that he never pulled a permit. When I called this city and found this out, it took 5 days for the permit and then he had to book an inspection. The inspectors had to cut holes in all of our walls to verify the work that was done properly. He cut corners on materials and his quote was one of the highest. We chose him because we believed we were paying for quality. Lesson learned. He caused our family a lot of unneeded stress. He works with a gentleman named Randy, who truly was the saving grace in this contract.

We are new to Ottawa. Met Guy from GV RENO at HOME SHOW (EY Centre). Guy impressed me as someone this old guy could "work with". With help from Randy and Adam designed a deck providing space for us and privacy for neighbours.
Good looking solid deck, built by an excellent crew that tidied up the area the end of each work day.
Pleased with this project we contracted GV to renovate and extend our Laundry room.
