As many others, my husband & I had spent a couple of years trying to figure out how to best renovate our main floor space which included the kitchen. When we met Elie of Counter Measures, he was very knowledgeable, accommodating and punctual to answering our phone calls, emails, etc. He also arranged with previous clients (2018) for us to see his work in their kitchens before we signed on; many thanks again to those clients for trusting us in your homes.
Due to structural concerns and our own indecisiveness, our kitchen
design took much longer than Elie or ourselves anticipated. Elie was patient and went above and beyond with several designs & changes until it was all figured out and we were completely satisfied. I will be honest, there were a few very frustrating conversations along the way, but that was understandable due to the scope of our project and yet we always worked out any differences and continued forward. We truly came to understand one another and today we have a beautiful and much more functional kitchen.
In this entire design there was only one flaw that we discovered after the fact; the spice drawer with a tray insert doesn’t quite function the way we hoped and unfortunately due to the height of the tray, many standard store bought jars prevent the drawer from closing, therefore having me to buy small reusable jars. Besides this height miscalculation Elie did a wonderful job! we are very pleased and love our new kitchen.
