Following a kitchen renovation, we decided to get our entire town home repainted. Having painted our unit on our own several years prior, we were not willing to go through the process again. We were nervous about getting a cheap, quick paint job by many of the recognizable heavily advertised paint companies. We wanted someone who was good at the trade, reasonable and not sloppy. Through a neighbour, we were directed to Alfredo Alvarez of Vancolor Painting.
He turned out to be more than what we expected. He gave us an honest quote, outlining general description and detailed costs. Once started, All furniture was covered prior to any work starting. No sloppy paint splatter on carpets, tiled floors or other areas of the house,. Extensive prep work included a thorough sanding of all walls with a dustless mechanical sander, including any required patching and preliminary touch-ups. Painting was absolutely meticulously completed with two coats of paint of our choosing. Edge cutting between walls and ceiling and walls and baseboards was perfect. All baseboards received a primary coat and two final coats after installation.
The entire job took about two weeks, resulting in an impressive final look! (3 floor town house, including baseboards and ceilings). This will last us many years.
