I had purchased a 'Home Heating Plan" from Direct Energy as my furnace was older and repairs were likely to be required in the future. I found the plan to be very beneficial for me as my furnace required a number of repairs that turned out to be very expensive. Additionally beneficial, the plan included one free furnace cleaning per year.

If I had to pay for the repairs myself, they would have cost far more than the $300 yearly charge for the plan. I assume that the plan is only to a customer's benefit if they actually need a furnace repair at some point. A person may never know whether they will require repairs that exceed the cost of the plan or not. If not, it is like insurance, something that you pay for but never actually use. This seems to determine whether people have been satisfied with the plan or not.

My experience with calling for a repair from Direct Energy has also been very positive. I have always been treated respectfully and the service has been efficient. By service, I mean the response time and the quality of the repair made. I have no complaints about Direct Energy.

This plumber was right on time. He took an imspection,told me his examinarion results,informed me about costs of certain things that was not covered and gave good strategy for getting work done in the future.He was couteous and handled the two plumbing problems in a timely fashion.

The air conditioner was fine, but their whole sales process and honesty is not really professional. Just don't like the way they recommend products you don't need and try to upsell to make more money. Stay away from Direct Energy.

Always get an appointment that suits. Never left waiting. The staff are really friendly and helpful and go out of their way to answer any questions i have. I am really impressed with this company. I would recommend them to anyone. Worth having the maintenance plan. I have been with Direct Energy for a long time and if anything they have just got better every time.

Put a service call in last week as compressor had stopped working. Technician quickly diagnosed problem - earwig got fried on the contactor. Replaced only necessary parts and showed me where the failure was. Friendly, efficient - ended up spending less than I thought and technician was in and out in 30 minutes.

The very day I signed up for the repair proteection plan with Direct Energy within 2-3 hrs a technician was in my home to provide service on my faulty a/c. The service representative was very knowlegable and explained the product,services and what it covers very well and clear and at the same time found me an appointment the same day in just a couple hrs.
When the technician came to my home he too was very courteous and very knowledgable. He knew his stuff and he got my a/c up and running in a short time.

In simple words, Direct Energy - You make me happy. This is a company any one can trust and depend on.

The came were to come between 4pm to 8pm, and arrived at exactly 4pm. They gave recommendations as to what might be wrong with the a/c and fixed it. Also gave hints on taking care of the a/c. It's working fine know.

when service is required ask for an employee of direct energy and not a private contractor as my experience with private contractors was not the greatest. Direct energy has a great service program however sometime the service people they hire are less than effective.

Called Direct Energy on Holiday Monday. They were in my driveway 18 hours later. The same repair person from last year(Dwayne)He rememberedtherepair he did. Small part was needed. He ordered and Direct Energy delievered it the same day to our house by 5pm. Dwayne came back friday morning and the work was complete with in the hour. The service was amazing. From the folks on the phone to dealing with Dwayne. Great Job by Direct energy. Strong commitment to customer service shown through out the entire company.
