This individual repaired my chimney, and I paid him cash at completion. In good faith, I didn't check the quality of workmanship because it was on my rooftop. When the bricks dried out, they were all stained with mortar, and the joints were different styles than the original, plus the mortar color didn't match the color of the other bricks. In addition, he did a terrible job with the flashing, and water got inside the house. When I called my roofer to check for leaks, he told me that it was from the flashing on the chimney. In fact, the roofer also told me that there was mortar spilled on a large area of shingles. Don't hire this person and if you do, don't pay him cash and get a receipt for the payment and also a warranty in writing. I'm very disappointed and I blame myself for trusting him. I shouldnt have looked at his few reviews which I assume they have been posted by his family members and/or friends.
