Very satisfied with Steve and his work on our porch/steps. He was willing accommodate ordering only 1 wood post as opposed to changing all 7 of them to another material like other contractors wanted to do. This saved us a lot of $$$ as it was only the one post that needed to be changed. It looks great as do the steps that he refinished. Would definetely recommend him to others!

We are very pleased with the work Steve did. He gave us a fair price. He searched for a matching brick. The work was done on schedule and the cleanup was great. Steve helped me find a contractor to do the flashing. We would recommend Steve.

I was referred to Steve by a previous customer, I noticed later on that were also listed in homestars. Steve and his crew are very professional and extremely knowledgeable in what they do. I had them quote on a garage foundation issue which was crumbling away and before they could begin work I noticed some crack lines in the brick of the house wall. The price was very reasonable considering what they did. I can also barely see the areas in the brick that they repaired. Amazing. I would highly recommend them and I plan on hiring them again.

Steve and Samantha did a great job repairing brick and putting on new parging. They also removed patio stones and replaced with a cement pad to prevent water entering my basement next to an outer basement door. The price was very reasonable and the workmanship was fabulous! I plan on getting more work done in the future and I will definitely give them a call. Love the stucco colour!

We had Clayson Construction do a bathroom renovation and we could not be happier. Steve and his assistant Sam were absolutely wonderful to work with. From the onset, we thought the price was more than reasonable, hence we decided to go with Cayson Construction. However, once you factor in all of the other amazing things about this company, the price just gets better.

To begin, they arrive on time - something that contractors generally do not do well at. If Steve says he will arrive at 8:30am, he will be there at 8:30am.

Second, they are impeccably clean!!!! Steve and Sam are fully aware that they are working in your home and they take every precaution to keep things as clean as possible (keeping in mind, they are doing construction work). In addition to keeping the inconvenience to a minimum, they cleaned up perfectly at the end of every day.

Third, both Steve and Sam were extremely professional at all times. They were in my home, and around my children for a couple of weeks and although they were never 'in the way', they were polite, pleasant and patient at all times (I can sometimes take a while to make a decision '-)

Lastly, their workmanship is impeccable. No detail was too small. They made sure that every cut, every grout line, every paint stroke, every everything was perfect every time.

Steve and Sam were an absolutely pleasure to work with. They made living without a bathroom as painless as possible. From the price to the quality of work(wo)manship we can not thank them enough for our beautiful bathroom.

We first met Steve when he was repairing cracks in the bricks for neighbours on both sides of us. We hired him to do the same and after an amazing job have never looked back. While speaking with him then, we learned he also did bathroom renovations. We asked if he would have a look at renovating our 30 year old ensuite bathroom. He presented us with a few layout options one of which included utilizing closet space from an adjacent bedroom to allow us to have both an amazing shower and a soaker tub!
After a complete demo, reconfiguring of the layout and total renovation we now have the bathroom of our dreams. Huge curbless rainhead shower, floating double vanity, in wall toilet, heated floor, soaker tub and all beautifully tiled and lit including mood lighting in the niches and under the vanity.
Steve’s totally upfront and his work is AAA. He handled all of our last minute add-ons or changes with a smile and enthusiasm for the end product. On top of that he is an amazing honest and caring man with a fantastic work ethic and an eye for perfection. He utilizes a great team but is always responsible for it all.
We would totally recommend him to anyone who could utilize any of his services.
