We consider ourselves fortunate to have found Steve and Samantha on HomeStars. From the first email onward, their level of professionalism, and their ability to truly listen to us and to translate our requests into reality were exemplary. On top of that, they are both genuinely nice people, and it was a pleasure to work with both of them. We inherited several issues when we purchased our home last Spring. We contacted Clayson Construction because of their positive reviews, and because we want to support local companies, when possible. They began with repairing the brickwork on our home, and sealed in a non-functional basement window. Next, began the creation of a closet space in our bedroom, and the making of a beautiful pocket door. We couldn't be more pleased with the improved functionality of the space, and the additional sunshine. They then began work on our family room, and spent many hours removing old decorative elements and providing seamless drywall and ceiling repairs. They finally provided us with a stunning fireplace surround and hearth in our family room. When the scope of something required an additional trade, they gladly directed us to excellent tradespeople and craftsmen. We are very happy with our decision to hire Clayson Construction, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve or Samantha to our friends and neighbours.

Very satisfied with Steve and his work on our porch/steps. He was willing accommodate ordering only 1 wood post as opposed to changing all 7 of them to another material like other contractors wanted to do. This saved us a lot of $$$ as it was only the one post that needed to be changed. It looks great as do the steps that he refinished. Would definetely recommend him to others!

We are very pleased with the work Steve did. He gave us a fair price. He searched for a matching brick. The work was done on schedule and the cleanup was great. Steve helped me find a contractor to do the flashing. We would recommend Steve.

I was referred to Steve by a previous customer, I noticed later on that were also listed in homestars. Steve and his crew are very professional and extremely knowledgeable in what they do. I had them quote on a garage foundation issue which was crumbling away and before they could begin work I noticed some crack lines in the brick of the house wall. The price was very reasonable considering what they did. I can also barely see the areas in the brick that they repaired. Amazing. I would highly recommend them and I plan on hiring them again.

Steve and Samantha did a great job repairing brick and putting on new parging. They also removed patio stones and replaced with a cement pad to prevent water entering my basement next to an outer basement door. The price was very reasonable and the workmanship was fabulous! I plan on getting more work done in the future and I will definitely give them a call. Love the stucco colour!
