LED Lights

Andrew installed 10 4" recessed LED lights in various places in my home. He did a great job, very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I am very happy and pleased with the outcome. I will be using Community Electric again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good electrician.

2, 6-8 ft. ballasts and 1, 4 ft. ballast including 6 bulbs (tubes)

The technician from Community Electric was very personable. Andrew arrived on time and after a complete review of the problem he explained in detail the situation and the proposed remedy. He then secured the necessary components and proceeded to remove the problem fixtures and install the new components. From the start of the engagement until the problem was fixed Andrew was professional in demeanour, focused and performed a quality installation.

Updating electricals at the house

Vlad and his assistant basically updated and made safe the entire electrical system in my mother's house, all receptacles and the main breaker box were originals from when the house was built in the 70s. They were here for two long days and were incredibly professional and kind to my mother. This was such a huge worry for her and they made the experience so positive for she and I both that I couldn't possibly write a more better review. The technician was Vlad and he's been here several times helping my mom by installing fans, garage lights and we are so grateful to have this trustworthy, skillful technician in the area. They also use a rate book, he wrote up the initial quote and showed us the rate book and that's exactly what we paid them for. As well as, the office team with the scheduling were extremely professional. Excellent, excellent service and peace of mind. We'll tell everyone we know in this area about them - I think they are regulars already in this neighbourhood - but we can't say enough great things about this experience.

Lighting Fixture

Vlad came within the timeframe we were told he would arrive. He inspected the light fixtures we had problems with and gave us a quote for each repair. He replaced the ballast for our garage light fixture very quickly. When he realized he did not have the right size ballast for the bathroom light, he told us he'd have to go get the part. That particular size ballast was much smaller in size and was not as easily replaceable since the standard was now a larger size. Vlad and Andrew came the next day and they brought a whole new ballast fixture with new light bulbs to replace the old one in the bathroom. It took them less than 20 minutes to replace it. Everything works great now. We paid exactly what they said we would pay. They stuck to the estimates he originally gave us. We would definitely hire Community Electric again for anything electrical we need fixing. We were impressed with Vlad's service and honesty.

Electrical fixture

I am writing this review as a humble note of appreciation for the outstanding and excellent support from Community Electric. My experience was nothing short of sheer excellence. Vlad was the electrician who represented Community Electric in an exemplary manner. His kind and caring demeanour coupled with his knowledge and skills was a welcomed presentation! I am a busy professional and did not want to allow this moment to get pushed to the back burner to do lately which has prompted me to write this review immediately. He came prepared and completed both projects with precision and ensured that each light fixture worked without any electrical issues. Please accept my gratitude towards the staff and technician for the efficient service and customer care. Great service from the first point of contact until completion makes your customers feel that you care about developing a long term relationship that means more than just making a sale. Again, I would like to especially commend Community Electric for their professionalism and superlative skills of its staff. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs any type of electrical services in the future. Keep up the good work!

Outlets, wiring, breaker panel

Vlad was an absolute champ on this job. He was friendly, informative, and thorough in his inspection/work performed. He found an issue with our new house that could be considered a fire hazard. He explained the issue, the solution, and fixed it promptly. Vlad went through a thorough listing of the tasks and related costs before he started the job and the final bill was reflective of that conversation. Excited to have Vlad from Community Electric as our "go to" electrician--thanks for your hard work!

Great Electrician

The Electrical panel was replaced and relocated to an outside wall. An 8 foot ground rod was installed and connected with a
#6 bare copper ground wire. All new properly sized breakers were installed in a new rain tight outdoor 100 amp pane. The doorbell transformer was replaced due to bad lead wires. A short-circuit was located in a bedroom ceiling fixture and repaired. Vlad and his assistant arrived at 9:00 am as promised and completed all work by 5:30 pm that same day. It was hot weather at the time so completion in one day was very much appreciated. Vlad was very happy to answer any questions I had about the installation.

Installed and wired 2 new recessed lights and new dimmer switch

Excellent experience. The Electrician, Vlad, was on time and very professional. He explained the work he was doing and answered all our questions. There was quite a bit of dry wall cutting, etc. needed for what we had installed. The cuts and installation was very clean looking and he made sure to clean up the areas he was working in. I have used CE in the past and will for sure use them again. I really feel like I am getting value for the work as well. There are more expensive options out there and most likely cheaper as well, but I feel like their prices are fair and their response and service is excellent and that is all I could ask for.

converting motion detector switches to regular switches in walk-in closets

After calling 8+ electricians, Vlad was only 1 of 2 to call me back and give me an estimate. I went with Vlad bc he got back to me quickly with the estimate and gave me an actual appointment, rather than "let me try to fit you in some time next week..." I am so glad that I got him to do our work - he was prompt, methodical, consciences, tidy and took the time to explain everything he was doing. A job which was supposed to take only a few hours ended up taking most of the days, due to complicated wiring already in place bc of a home automation system. Vlad did not increase his fee - he told me that was what he quoted me! I would recommend him in an instant and would definitely use him again.
