Worst Experience ever!!!!

I contacted Window Rama based on the reviews on Homestars. They appeared to be a reputable company. When their salesperson came out and met with me he assured me the windows would be installed within 4-5 weeks. Further, He showed me a catalog with various door designs and asked me to chose one. Once I had paid my deposit I did not hear back from The salesperson and I had to call the head office and chase up with the installer to get the measurements. Once several weeks had passed by I called to find out when the windows would be installed I was told it would be delayed by another 4 weeks. I was upset by this and contacted the salesperson who told me the delay was due to the door I had found on google which he had to source and match. The latter was not the case as I have text messages from the salesperson to prove he sent me that door design.

Once the installation finally took place there were several deficiencies in the workmanship which they did not want to address and demanded immediate payment. Once they finally agreed to rectify one of the deficiencies (the white trim around the doors) I left the installer at the house to complete the work. In the meantime I had started e-transferring the balance to Windowrama when I was advised by my contractor that the installation guys from Windowrama had removed several windows without my permission. Further, several items were taken from the property.

I contacted the police regarding the preceding and currently working with a detective from 54 Division. Thursday the 6th at 10:12am the salesperson contacted me and threatened to cause further damage to the property. I have advised the police that Window Rama is responsible for any damages or harm caused to myself, my family or the property. The company claimed they wanted to resolve this matter on good terms but removing windows that were already installed and uttering threats is not the way to conduct business.

I was also advised by another window installer who has worked with the owner of the company; that he owns several different companies and poor workmanship followed by removal of windows is common practice by him.

Steer clear of this company and any windows produced by consumer choice windows.
