Overall disappointing. When the going gets tough, Heather Phair's solution is not to return my calls or answer our emails.
We paid for door to door delivery, and we were never informed there were additional costs at the destination for release of the boxes which contained an elderly's personal items. Otherwise the goods would be shipped back at our expense again.... of course.
She ceased to communicate with us and when our goods were held hostage at the other end. The recipient was now obligated to sort it out creating unnecessary, unplanned costs and headaches.
As an experienced shipping enterprise, it is the job of AMJ to inform us of all costs involved prior to shipping. We may not have sent these boxes if we knew differently ahead of time.
