I only had 4" of old insulation in my semi-detached attic. Eco Comfort responded to my calls immediately and sent out a representative to take a look at my options and quote within 2 days. Arnold went into the attic, gave a very fair quote to air seal, add soffit vent baffles, and insulate to R60 with cellulose. Arnold also took the time to explain the rebate options that were available to me for doing this work.

On the day of the work, the crew of Tom, Jacob, and Nick arrived on time and were very courteous to me and my house. They were very professional and finished all the work in just over 2 hours. They then took time to make sure they did not leave a mess anywhere.

My house is fifty years old about an inch of insulation in the attic. Right from the beginning Patrick was professional and explained the process. This is our second time using EcoComfort, as we have recently moved homes. Our attic had an existing R value about 20 and the current building code is above R60. Patrick and his team are reliable and professional. They sealed our attic hatch, reattached all bathroom vents to the existing roof vents and topped up an additional 15 inches of cellulose insulation to R60. Their work always includes before and after photos. We further took Patrick's advice and got an energy audit done to find further energy savings. We are very satisfied.

I called several companies to get my attic insulation topped up. Eco Comfort was the ONLY company that came to my how to provide a quote. Everyone else just wanted approximate sq. footage to provide a quote.

Eco Comfort did a bunch of other things as part of their package like the installation of the rafter vents along the soffits. They also provide multiple photographs for me for the before and after process.

I probably won't know how much of effect this made on my heating bill until next winter but these guys did a great job and clean up.

On my energy audit post installation, the inspector commented on the amazing job Eco Comfort did with the insulation.

The whole process went smooth from initial quote request to set up of onsite assessment to provide actual quote and the work itself. In all cases, Wotjek and Arnold were very prompt in replies, friendly and professional. A crew of three arrived a little after scheduled time and completed the work of blown-in cellulose insulation, installing baffles, mold remediation and hatch weather-stripping and caulking. Time completed in about two hours and room vacuumed, but not hallways and stairs to front door. Noticed overall temperature increase of at least 1 degree Celsius, as upper rooms have other heat loss from windows/walls but no draft from the hatch now. Overall, satisfied work was done with no issues.

When I called about insulation for my home, I wasn't familiar with what exactly I wanted. The company sent Patrick over, who checked my Attic and explained what was required. He was able to book me for the next day.
Greg and two other installers arrived on time the next day and completed the installation within a few hours. They thoroughly completed what Patrick had outlined to me the day before. They ensured their work areas were clean, and Greg provided photos of the installation and asked me if I had any questions, which he answered. Then payment was requested.

During the winter, we noticed some black lines forming on our ceiling. The cause is known as "ghosting" which indicates a lack of insulation. Patrick assessed the situation and the previous firm that completed our insulation in 2014 had done so in an uneven fashion and not to the correct level. This meant in some places we only had 3 inches of insulation when it should have been around 19-21 inches.

Eco-comfort changed out the baffles and added cellulose to the R60 rating level. We have noticed a more consistent temperature throughout the house since the fix.

Had then complete attic insulation top up from R28 to R80 (~1000 square foot attic). Also added 12 additional baffles and resealed attic hatch. Crew arrived on time and worked very efficiently to get the job done. Everything was cleaned up before the left. Highly recommend!

I used Eco Comfort to increase the insulation in my attic. I was very happy with them. They answered all of my questions and did a great job. They were on time , efficient and cleaned up. My house is much more comfortable now.
