While I love the concept of painted cabinets we have had nothing but issues with ours since they were finished. Similar to another reviewing they were not packaged probably or dried and we had to go back on three separate occasions to have them redone. Only the last time did they offer to deliver our finished doors back so it was constant running back and forth.
Now that we have had these cabinets a number of months almost every door has cracking in the seams and paint flaking everywhere. I literally have had to touch them up every two weeks since we got them. I emailed to ask them what they were willing to do and have had radio silence. I have also noticed that other than this forum all opportunities to review this company have been blocked. I assume for a reason. I am very disappointed and for the money we spent wish I would have went with a different company.

The issues mentioned are very unusual for us and we have not had such problems with our finish before. We have redone these cabinets on 2 occasions and have even gone so far as to deliver the doors to the home to appease the client. Our paint finish is attained with enviro-friendly products and is resilient for "normal wear and tear". In this case the cabinet finish has been used to the extreme and the cause of client dissatisfaction.
After the home delivery - we felt we had exhausted further attempts to meet the client expectations.
On our initial meeting back in February 2015 the client mentioned that an Astro Kitchen was most desirable and after months of emails back and forth, requests for references from us (which we provided) they settled for the more economical route of the painted kitchen. Also to clarify - the cost for this project was $1850.00 + HST. The HST is remitted to CRA and therefore not a profit to small business.
We are always striving to make our service better and attempting to meet our many client's expectations. We do appear here in Homestars and welcome the client feedback. The flaw with Homestars is that the client is able to rate the company in a 'star' rating. However the company does not have the option of rating the client.
