Hills and Valley were so professional and efficient when installing our water treatment and RO system my husband and I were so happy, and when they were finished installing the system they took the time to explain how everything worked and what to expect as well as the fact that now that we have softer water we wont have to use as much dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaners or shampoos etc... The best thing I have noticed besides the fact that I can't drink enough of the fresh tasting water, is that I have cleaned all of the lime and soap scum off of my sinks, taps and toilets etc and in over a week they are still sparkling. I also descaled our Kuerig which looked disgusting but I was so frustrated with trying to keep it clean and it still looks like I just cleaned it. We were also really happy with the fact that they found a spot in the basement for our RO system so it didn't take up all of my cupboard space under my sink, it showed me that they really cared about me as the homeowner and took the time to install it in the best possible spot for us, not to mention that the water makes our tea, coffee homemade soups etc all taste soooo much better. I wish I had done this years ago. I would and do highly recommended this company to many of my friends and family, the service is impeccable and so far I am ecstatic about my systems.

Background: Moved into a new to me home (7 years old) with well water/septic and sump pump. Home inspection indicated the well pressure tank bladder was ruptured. The tank was a very small tank and would put a heavier work load on the well pump for the size of house and number of occupants so I knew I would be changing this.Home inspector tested the water and all was good. When I moved in the water was disgusting with such a very strong smell of Sulfur/bad eggs.This is easy to do on a temporary basis by poring Chlorine down the well. This will fix the problem for 1 to 2 months. One day, a day of a storm, the sump pump gave up. This was a coincidence as all was good when inspected and when I moved in.

Action: I contacted 3 water system companies to come and have a look and give me an estimate to fix. When Errol of Hills and Valley came around He said the sump pump must be replaced and recommended a backup power supply as. Good idea which I accepted. When he looked at the water system he recognized the myriad of problems I had. The drain pipe for regening the filter and softener was illegally connected. A half inch hold had been drilled into the main waste water pipe and the drain pipe pushed through this hold and tapped up. As I said this was illegal.The control unit for the filter was OK but was connected to the wrong type of filter. The softener was built into the salt tank, which was also small, and was toast. All in all the installation was either a home owner stall or done by somebody who would not even make a good cowboy. It truly was a total amateur job.I would have done better myself as I do know the setup of water systems sourced from a drilled well. end result replace the whole system which I agreed because it was needed. The only thing the home inspector missed was the drainage pipe install from the filter.

At the end of the day I chose Hills and Valley to do the work both on the sump pump and water system.
They did a wonderful job at a reasonable cost, not the cheapest or most expensive. Middle of the road.
Extremely impressed with their work ethic and work done. I can now drink the water from the tap. No smells, so I don't come out of the shower smelling like a bad egg.

We shopped around for a replacement water treatment system to replace our aging Culligan system. Errol met with us and went through our options and help recommend and customize a system to meet our needs. We replaced our in-efficient Water Softener and Iron and element system and added a RO system with UV. Errol and Aideen did an excellent job installing the system and setting up the system the way "I would if it was my house" to quote Errol. This included running our new RO system to our new fridge that arrived the same day. The result was a very tidy, (See Picture) easy to access water system that provides the best drinking water we have ever tasted! I sent Errol a question regarding a symbol on my display I was not sure about and within minutes my phone rings with Errol giving me a detailed explanation of the symbol . Again showing their great Service at Hills and Valley!

We found Errol online by looking up well water specialist in my area and we are so thankful we found his company Hills and Valley water systems. I want to provide some background first: We purchased our home 3 years ago and even after doing the required water tests for well water prior to purchasing our home we didn't realize that even though the water is potable it still wasn't good to drink or cook with until we moved in. After time went by and having other water companies in we realized our water was bad, really bad and no one could provide us with a full fix. The color of the water is yellow, with a slight smell - more of an iron smell than sulfur and we always had to worn people that our water color was yellow and not to drink it as it was quite salty and to which we couldn't cook with it either. Over time we got frustrated as clothes were starting to get ruined with orange stains that I couldn't get out because we couldn't use any bleach products or oxiclean ect. in the wash or even to clean our washrooms as it would stain everything.

Errol came and did multiple water tests explaining everything in detail as he was doing it and we found out we have whats called Brackish water - caused by our well's fresh water mixing with the sea water that once was our land years and years ago and the water is high in tannin. This is what was causing the yellow water and why it was not only ruining our fixtures it was corroding the faucets and clogging the faucet screens with orange sludge over time with build up behind the screens of the faucets affecting the water pressure as well. Errol needed to install a water softener, Sulphur/Iron remover, Tannin remover, RO system (reverse osmosis) with ultraviolet disinfection and a 300 gallon holding tank. We were quite shocked at not only what was required to fix our water but the cost to fix it totally shocked us! However Errol explained that because our water was that bad it wouldn't be fixed with a residential system as we needed a Commercial grade system to be able to handle the on demand water usage as it takes time to remove tannin and and the go through the RO system we wouldn't get enough water. After much deliberation we decided we needed to fix our water we had no choice we just had to, so we went ahead with it. One month later we are so very happy we did and have no regrets at all, we have crystal clear water, we can use it to cook, and it isn't just drinkable it is better than bottle water! Doing laundry now isn't scary, things come out so clean, and whites are actually white, and no more stains!
