A building trap prevented clearing of a clog. Toilet also leaked from base. After interviewing 4 plumbers, Mr. McDowell was the clear winner. His readiness to tackle the job and over 30 years of experience, won my trust. He was the only one who cared to bring a Locator to find the main sewer line. Not only was his estimate accurate, his price was the best as he did not "pad" the cost with unnecessary jobs. His diggers were very efficient, organized and tidy. They also installed a clean out and a backwater valve. They took only half a day. The toilet had leaked because it was not properly installed. There were too many layers of flooring. Mr. McDowell came up with an effective fix, and also replaced the ancient supply line to the tank. He only charged for parts and not for labour. I am so happy with Canada Waterproofers that I recommend them in a heartbeat. Price includes rebate from the City of Toronto.
