Waterline Replacement with Water Meter Relocation, and Backwater Valve
In late November discovered a waterline leak under the basement concrete slab. Fortunately it was draining into the weeping tile allowing time to research Contractors. Ended up with 4 quotes with Waterguard and another close in price. Selected Waterguard based on their expertise in trenchless waterline replacement, Michael answering all my questions, and their great reviews on HomeStars. Although intially I was not planning on doing the Backwater valve, Waterguard earned my trust, and it was added to the contract.
Waterguard did not disappoint, locates were done in 2 days, they showed up on time, protected the property, hand dug around the Gas lines that were very close to the water shut off, expertly shot the torpedo from inside the house to the water shut off valve outside going under a walkway and landscaping saving me considerable money vs open trenching. They then quickly installed the new 3/4" copper waterline, relocated the existing water meter and installed the new Backwater valve. All work was completed within 1 day with concrete finishing the following day. Would definetely recommend Waterguard for similiar work and will use them again without hesitation. Waterguard has earned my trust.
