I hired Davis Renovations based on their amazing Homestars reviews, and I was not disappointed! Daniel and Adrian did a fantastic job on my basement bathroom and I highly recommend them.

My old basement bathroom had been very poorly installed by previous homeowners (no waterproofing,) was permanently damp and badly in need of a reno.

From start to finish, Daniel was a total pleasure to work with. He presented a fair and honest quote, followed up with a very professional contract, showed up EXACTLY when he said he would, and completed the job within his original timeframe! He and Adrian installed a new tub, tiles and drywall and everything was meticulous and professional. They both did excellent work, and always left their job site very tidy at the end of each day...which was a total bonus, as this reno was in my tenant's apartment and helped to make it a bit less of an inconvenience in his space.

On top of all of this, they are genuinely nice guys and obviously take great pride in their work. Which they should, because it's great!!

Daniel was great - he provided us with a prompt, accurate and detailed quote; started the job when he said he would; worked through some safety issues with us regarding the correct anchoring of a gas fireplace; and everything was finished right on time. A great experience and we'll definitely be calling Davis Renovations first for our next projects.

We've had Daniel (& co.) help us with a number of jobs over the past year, including demolition and drywalling work in a number of rooms in our house, installation of new energy-efficient pot-lights in an upstairs bathroom, and the installation of a new exterior hatch allowing access to a crawlspace under our back room.

We've been quite happy with the work Daniel and his team have done. He comes up with cost-effective, high-quality solutions. On a few occasions it has taken a while for him to get back to us (mainly during busy periods), but he ultimately always does, and reliably gets the job done. We expect to ask him to do more work for us in the future and have already recommended him to friends.

Daniel and the worker he brought to complete the job were both extremely professional, courteous, responsive, and punctual. My wife and I are really happy with the work and the customer experience.

We called on Daniel to repair our drywall, which had some holes in it. After starting the job, Daniel unfortunately discovered mold behind the drywall. He immediately alerted us to the problem, recommended we talk to the mold specialists, and returned our deposit, even though he had already invested time starting the job and also coming out for a quote. After the mold had been dealt with, we called on him again for another quote, this time to fix the entire section of wall that had been destroyed. Daniel kept the quote the same, even though there was more wall to repair and he could have charged more - because as he explains installing whole chunks of wall was easier to install than the patch up job we originally hired him for. After dealing with some less than honest contractors, it was such a pleasure to meet someone who displays such honesty and integrity. The end result was fabulous as well, we couldn't tell that anything had happened to the wall. I would strongly recommend Davis renovations to anyone.

A previous contractor did some renovations of our kitchen but didn't do a good job on a couple of walls and a part of the ceiling. We didn't trust that they knew how to do a proper job so didn't ask them to come back to fix it. Daniel came in to do the assessment, estimated the job, and then Richard came to do the work. Both Daniel and Richard are awesome! They communicated in person, on the phone, and, something I really appreciate, via texting. They were responsive, on time, polite and engaging. Best of all, they did a great job! My wife and I have high standards and they exceeded them. Great work Daniel and Richard! We'll be following up with you for future projects. By the way, the neighbors will also be calling you.

I had insulation installed in my garage ceiling and had to remove all the drywall to do this. I hired Daniel to do the job after checking out several other service. His was by far the best quote. One contractor quoted me over $1800 to do the job; Daniel quoted me $750. I was very happy with the work he did. He was there on the date we agreed on and even finished the job a day early. I would highly recommend him.
