I was having a problem with my fridge running too often and the freezer section being too cold and there was ice build up on the back of the freezer panel. The fridge is 17 years old and normally I would just buy a new fridge, but I had just sold my house and was moving in three months and didn't want the expense of purchasing a new fridge if a cheaper repair was a viable option. I went on Homestars and found Top Tech Appliances. They had excellent reviews so I decided to give them a call. Mors came out the next day to examine the fridge and determined that the problem was likely a faulty timer and since the repair was reasonable I went ahead and had the timer replaced. The following day it was apparent that the fridge was still running much too often and ice was once again starting to form. I contacted Mors and he was willing to come out the next day, which was a Sunday, and take another look. I expressed to him my concern that the issue might be more serious than just a faulty timer and he agreed that was a possibility. I didn't want to have to invest more money in a possibly expensive repair and decided that it would be best to simply buy a reasonably priced, new fridge since I had to leave a fridge in working condition when my house closed. Mors was gracious enough to refund me the price of the original repair that I had paid for since it didn't solve the issue and only kept the portion that we had agreed on for the service call if I chose not to do a repair. The cheque paying me back the difference arrived within the week. I was impressed with Mors's integrity, a quality that is often hard to find in people anymore. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for appliance repair.
