Stay FAR away from Eric and MNE.
Installing new hardwood has two routes
1. Put in new subfloor (plywood) OR
2. REPAIR the old subfloor
I was #2 - and needed WOOD FILL in deep areas damaged by demolition of previous floor, screws in previous plywood checked and new screws added in some bouncy areas, level check, , and fully REQUESTED a full GLUE and nail down installation.
Eric advised NONE of it needed and install was halted due to his orders to two inexperienced subcontractors that are poorly paid by the job (not hourly) abd in my view being exploited while ERIC skims the profit .
This man is NOT PROFESSIONAL, RUDE and truly doesn't know what he is doing.
Stay far away .
