Ryan came by to give an estimate, he got the job done when he said he would. he worked steadily and cleaned up the worksite beautifully. He was a good listener, and worked co-operatively with me in pruning a large tree. It was a pleasure to work with him, he is reliable and takes pride in getting the job well done. 2018 update:

We had a flat roof leak during the ice storm earlier this year that leaked into my son's bedroom. Ryan hadn't replaced the flat portion of our roof when he did our roof in 2015. At the time he said that the condition of the flat roof was fine. Ryan stopped by after the ice storm this year to have a look. He said that the issue wouldn't happen again on the flat roof until another ice storm since he said it was due to ice buildup. He said that we could address it before the next winter.

Then with some of the 2018 torrential summer rain we had, the flat roof leaked into my son's bedroom again. I texted Ryan about the flat roof leak. It took Ryan about a week to get back to me. He sent a one line message saying that he was sorry, he wouldn't be able to fix the flat roof.

I recently had the flat roof inspected by other roofing companies and they found numerous big issues with it that Ryan had surprisingly never pointed out to me the numerous times that he inspected our flat roof. In addition, the other roofing companies found a couple of installation issues from Ryan's work that I plan to pay them to correct.

I would have appreciated it if Ryan would have not left me hanging about the flat roof, so that my attic wouldn't be unnecessarily ruined by rain. I was not impressed with his inability to proactively follow up to get to the root cause of flat roof issues. I can't confidently say that Ryan stands by his clients, and I definitely wouldn't recommend him for any flat roof work.

2016 update:
Fast forward to September 2016...and there was a 6 inch diameter water stain in one of our small bedrooms. I called Ryan and he came out quickly to inspect the roof, take photos, and show me what happened. It turns out some pesky raccoons had decided to damage one part of our roof - I'm assuming they were trying to get into the attic. Ryan quickly fixed the issue for a very reasonable fee.

2015:
Ryan did our roof in July 2015. He came in at a reasonable price and did a great job on our house. It looks amazing. He communicated well, and got back quickly. He took the time to thoroughly explain things. He removed the old shingles, fixed a couple of pieces of wood under the roof, and significantly improved the curb appeal by removing an unused roof vent located on the roof facing the street.

Ryan did all of this for us in a timely manner, and cleaned up the worksite well.

Ryan helped us install a new vent for the master bathroom. He was very friendly, got the job done quickly and was happy to answer any questions my husband, and I had. Thank you, Ryan!

Ryan did our roof last fall. We got a 7-8 quotes and his price was mid-range and seemed fair. He was very transparent and didn't try to up-sell like some companies did, and was very informative... taking pictures to show during the quote and during the job and explaining anything I asked about. We got a good vibe from Ryan and I checked a few nearby jobs he had done and feedback was positive too, although the jobs were recent (last couple years). It took a day and a half to finish so was slightly behind schedule but no problem other than the trash dumpster being in our driveway and extra day so we had to double check for nails ourselves. Overall no issues with roof so far, we were happy with the service and have recommended to a couple friends.

Ryan appeared as our garage roof was in desperate need of a saviour. He valiantly assailed the old tired shingles with a mighty shovel and smote the righteously until they were no more. The new roofing materials were applied evenly with precision care, and our rejoicing was heard throughout the realm. Thank you Ryan for a nice job done!!
