We had three quotes for our eavestrough. Josh was the first, and provided a detailed quote with lengths and dimensions - neither of the other two companies did that. We ended up selecting Josh and his company for a few reasons:1 - he is the owner, installer and provides the quotations - much less chance of miscommunication between the "sales" and installation crew. The other two companies sent salesman.2 - Josh did not try to upsell anything on our house, which has a few unique features, including a second roof above the main roof. The other two companies tried to upsell us by recommending one or more of: bigger gutters due to "size of roof", gutters on the top roof (not necessary), snow guards everywhere since absent these our warranty could be nullified (we since confirmed it wouldn't be). If we went with all the upsell, it would have potentially nearly tripled our costs.3) we liked the leaf guard design from Josh's company, which is slightly more expensive than the competitors, but we believe a better product.With regards to the installation, Josh came out when he said he would, they installed the gutters in one day, and left the job site at the end of the day, without any mess. There were two minor hiccups, both of which were managed very well.The first was a backorder of materials, which meant he could not do the entire job when he initally committed to. This is not really in the company's control, and Josh was very flexible in fitting us in on a day that was convenient to us. The second was that because our roof is a bit odd, it does not overhang our fascia by very much. This allowed water to drip on the inside of the gutter during the first big rain. When we contacted Josh, he was back out in one week, and caulked the whole roof and gutter, no questions asked. Lastly, Josh charged us exactly what he quoted us for the job.
