Sweet Refinishing & Painting

Our kitchen was in need of a refresh but we didn’t want to change the cabinets as they were still in very good condition so we contacted Imran at Sweet Refinishing. He came to our house within a short timeframe and provided a quote the same day. We ended up painting the kitchen cabinets, changing the soft close hinges, as well as painting the master bathroom cabinets. Communication was good most of the time throughout the project. They took the doors and drawers to be painted offsite and spray painted the cabinets and island onsite. The guy who came to tape and spray paint the kitchen (to ensure that the spray paint does not go anywhere but on the cabinets) did a very thorough job and the quality of the work was great. The doors and drawers were ready a few weeks later and a team of 4 people came to reinstall them; you can tell they were professionally painted as the finish is very smooth and beautiful. We encountered an issue with the knobs, ie while we were waiting for our new knobs to arrive, they reinstalled the old knobs but screwed them very tight (which should be a good thing as you don’t want them to turn); however, when came the time to change our knobs, the paint came off from under the knobs on some of the doors and drawers. We did some touch up with the leftover paint we had so it looks fine now (the moral of the story though is that if you are planning to change your knobs, wait until you get the new ones instead of installing the old ones in the meantime).

Overall, we were very satisfied with the work performed and the end product and would recommend their services.
