I have been a long time loyal customer of Concord Shading since 2006 - four homes! Sadly, loyalty is not valued with this company.
In August I reached out to Natasha for three large blinds, panels and drapes for my condominium. On October 19, Natasha said Concord Shading productions are disastrous with a 6-8 week wait. She referred me to Diana. In the past, I had always worked with Natasha. I was open to the idea of working with Diana because I know Concord Shading outsources the drapes and in the past, so I was not worried about working with a new person under Concord Shading (see screenshot below).
In short, Concord Shading ended up supplying 5 new SOMFY motors and 4 blinds. I reached out to Robert, the new owner of Concord Shading (I sure do miss Izzy), wondering if he knew what was happening with his company. I also wished to confirm that the warranty for the motors is covered with Concord Shading.
On January 22, 2024, in an email from Robert, owner, "I am responding to your email with the mutual knowledge that you are not a current customer of Concord Shading Systems nor was the Company ever engaged to complete any work on your behalf.....Notwithstanding the aforementioned, any Somfy dealer will be able to service motors under warranty for which you would normally be charged for labour. Concord Shading Systems will not perform this work for you." However, in several text messages and phone calls, direct involvement with Concord Shading is evident.
Just walk away from this unprofessional company.
