First off, they arrived an hour late, secondly, they had an empty truck with a few blankets and a roll of shrink rap and a single dolly.
We were told that they would disassemble the furniture, pack it up into the truck and reassemble it at the new location.
They did not bring any tools to disassemble or reassemble the furniture.
Fortunately, I had brought my own toolbox in case I needed it and they ended up having to use my tools.
We had paid to rent the elevator at the new location. The elevator was available until 4pm. however due to their slowness, we missed the deadline and ended up paying for more time. We also ended up helping them move some of the furniture ourselves.
There was also damage to some of our furniture.
They charge 90.00/hr. I suppose that's why they took their sweet time in doing things. What should have cost us max, 900.00 ended up to be 1300.00.
Furthermore, when we complained about the bad service and asked for a discount based on the poor service, we were told that unless we pay the full amount, they would not unload the truck.
