I have never received such good service anywhere about anything! I walked to his Spadina store today on my lunch break hoping to get a good deal on a canister vacuum. Marco gave me great deal - giving me a price well below the sale prices of all the big box and online retailers (I did my research before going to his store). And then he paid for a taxi back to my work b/c the box was a bit bulky to carry! Who does that?
And then while I was waiting for the cab, I witnessed another retail first. A man walked in looking to replace a handheld vac that he bought someplace else and that broke after 10 or 11 months of use. Instead of selling him a new vac, Marco suggested that he make a warranty claim to get a new machine. When the guy responded that he didn't have his receipt for the original purchase and so figured he was out of luck under the warranty, Marco told him he was still potentially eligible for a free replacement and asked the guy to bring in the machine so that he (Marco) could contact the manufacturer on his behalf. Who does this for a product purchased from a competitor? Crazy.
