Would definitely not recommend Marbletown to potential customers!
The installation of our quartz kitchen counter top was great I will give them that but as for customer service and satisfying the customer I would rate them 0!
Approximately 2 months after the installation the surface of the slab started to have black marks appear down one side. We contacted the installer Marbletown and after numerous calls they finally came to take a look. After trying to remove the marks without success Marbletown indicated that there were going to contact the manufacturer TCE to come and take a look or we could also contact them ourselves??? Why should we be contacting the manufacturer this should be seamless to us the customer. We hired Marbletown and they contracted the manufacturer to provide the slab. TCE came to our house and we were not satisfied with the response this individual provided to us. They did not even bring a charged camera / phone to take pictures. After a number of e-mails they indicated that it was not their responsibility but we had done something to the slab…now I ask how could that be since the marks went straight down the length of one side. Today the marks are worse and are appearing all over the slab!
The response from TCE was not satisfactory to us so the owner of Marbletown finally came to look at the slab and agreed that there was a problem with the slab. It almost looks like the slab is deteriorating.
He attempted to contacted TCE and was not getting a response, finally TCE responded indicating that it was not their problem and would not be responsible for the slab, Marbletown indicating the same that they would not pay for it!
How poor is that!
Would not recommend and I am now trying to decide my next steps small claims court or the better business bureau!
