Mud and Paint Landing and Bathroom - Knockdown in Bathroom

Fantastic people, rushed work. The quality of work is not what I was expecting after reading the reviews on Homestars. The sanding was not blended properly and I can still see the old color through the paint in several places.

We've been waiting over two months now for Jamie to let us know when he can come back to repair/finish the sanding and painting. I understand he was very busy at the time and I did tell him we were not in a rush but two months seems a bit excessive to not hear back. We should have waited to pay until the work was complete as I think we've been forgotten at this point.

These are very good people but the quality of work we received and the lack of communication is disappointing. I spent this week repairing the issues and re-painting, as we are selling our home and could not wait any longer.

On a positive note, the knockdown Jamie did was outstanding but we will not use his services in the future nor recommend them.

What could this company do to improve their services?

Thanks for the review. You definitely caught me by surprise. I hope my angle on this makes sense. Let me first start with saying customer service is my specialty. I thought your job went really well. Considering how old the walls are and all the imperfections, you and Steve seemed really happy. Probably a good reason you requested my services to come back and paint yours and your daughters bedroom on a seperate contract. We had made a date a week after I was complete to start the next project. You contacted me to let me know everyone was sick and we would have to make it another time for the new work. I never thought too much of it. Was very kind with the last minute cancellation. My understanding was that you would touch base with me via email/ phone as we had always had a great line of communication. I hadn't heard from you until a week before Xmas asking if I could return your Parking pass because you had company coming. So Pam brought the same day. You received an email that day from me also letting you know that I was here when you were ready. And I wished your family a happy holidays. I received no email back. After your bathroom was painted by me. You had made changes (ie...new smaller vanity and changed some electrical. I would have been happy to take care of any extra touch ups when you gave me the green light for job 2
How do you give a honest hardworking small business such a negative review with exaggerated details I am truly offended
I work hard to please and I can't or won't ask you to change your opinion even though it is unfair.
