Dryer Vent Wizard replaced a old plastic dryer vent line and seized (and improperly vented) bathroom fan in our newly-purchased Toronto home. Great customer service and knowledge from a father-son team that really knew their stuff and sticks to their knitting. Despite some unexpected surprises, the work was done on short notice and with great professionalism and quality. A pleasure to work with and highly recommended trouble-shooters.

I blew the thermal fuse in my dryer, so it was suggested I get the vents cleaned before fixing the dryer. Tyler came and explained that the DYI venting re-route that some cowboy contractor had done 18 years ago was actually causing efficiency problems.

The dryer loads now take HALF THE TIME, on medium heat, instead of high heat. Can you imagine the money I have wasted on power for the last 18 years?? I do laundry 7 days a week.

I give Tyler and his company a 20 out of 10. I was very skeptical about having someone that wasn't recommended directly to me do the work. I found Tyler on line, read the reviews and decided to contact him. My dryer vent had been dislodged for god knows how long. I had a build up of lint in my ceiling in the basement. Not only a fire hazard, but mold hazard as well. I was afraid I would have to rip out the ceiling just to find and correct the problem. So Glad I found Tyler. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and did a thorough, and clean job. Tyler found the problem with minimal opening of the ceiling. He by far exceeded my expectations. He not only cleaned out all the lint trapped in the ceiling, and confirmed no black mold, but he cleaned out my dryer of any lint build up, and replaced all my hoses on my washer as they were worn. My husband and I live in a very old century home and we have slowly discovered over the years that the previous owners cut many corners when doing updates (the dryer ventilation being one of them). I needed a dryer vent installation. The pipe had to be put through a very thick foundation wall consisting of concrete, then wood, then thick brick. Tyler handled the job excellently and drilled a perfect hole for the pipe. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He actually left the area cleaner than before he started the work. The price would have been just over $600.00, but due to budget concerns, Tyler did the hardest part of the job for us and left the rest for us to complete. This reduced our cost to just over $300.00.
