An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We contacted Mr. Tyler Johnson, Dryer vent Wizard, concerning a problem we were experiencing with our clothes dryer. It was taking twice as long to dry a load of clothing. We had a local appliance contractor in to help us but he indicated that we didn't have a problem. Mr. Johnson knew immediately that we had a major concern and proceeded to help us. What he found in the elbow of the vent was a mixture of lint and insulation left by the home builder's contractor. It measured larger than a softball in baseball. The possibility of a vent fire was imminent especially since we used the plastic piping connecting our dryer to the vent. ALL HAS BEEN FIXED BY THE DRYER VENT WIZARD. I must compliment Mr. Johnson for his professional manner, his skills in dealing with people and charging what I would consider a fair price for the work he performed.
