They so a good job and our house is beautifully and structurally sound, woth the exception of the acoustics (PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW). That being said, I would not recommend taking possession of there homes until ALL construction is complete. We took possession of our home with the promise that all work would be done swiftly, but it took over 6 months to complete. They would also make appointments with us to do work inside the house and not show up, and we lost vacation days at work. We were not given any notice, they just would not show up. And when we called they were often rude about it. ALSO- BE VERY CAUTIOUS BUYING A SEMI- DETACHED HOME FROM WINTERGREEN. The SOUND PROOFING is not good. We had acoustical testing done and the sound transfer through the party wall is actually above code levels, but it is too difficult to fix so we let it go. You can hear every foot step your neighbours make!

What could this company do to improve their services?
Work on Acoustics design for party walls. Have slightly better customer service.

We brought a new construction from them. Almost 6 months after the possession date, the work is still not complete. They rarely showed up during the summer to finish work. For fixing inside work, we would take days off from work to accommodate them and they did not show up. They did not even call to say that they were cancelling so we lost vacation time. Builder is nice until you address the issues, then he is extremely hostile and unresponsive. He is terrible about returning calls or email.

Also, site is very unsafe to live on until work is complete. Out family has been injured by nails, metal shavings, falls (due to improperly installed temporary stairs). We expected this for a few months but not over 6!

I would not buy from this builder unless the home was completely finished (especially if you have small children or pets). But even then, don't expect a timely response if something goes wrong in the first year.
