I'm truly a fan of Bellsmith Carpentry. I recently went through a full kitchen renovation with them. Everything was replaced except the floor tile. The team was extremely diligent, engaged, creative, and collaborative and they delivered the vision perfectly while managing the nuances and constraints. The job was finished on time and under estimate. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience and my new kitchen!

Bellsmith ( Christian and J.P. ) was a pleasure to work with. They were respectful, consiensous, trustworthy, and very careful of the rest of the house and garden despite the fact that digging and cement pouring were necessary. All trades did exemplary work and were clean, helpful and pleasant people. The job was well coordinated such that little time was lost. They were able to solve all unexpected problems after demolition and still reproduce the architect's requirements. The end result is that the bathroom is more beautiful than anticipated. We have done many renovations with many contractors over the years. Bellsmith is the best company we have worked with.

It is a pleasure to write a review for Bellsmith Carpentry and Renovation. They were hired for a project that involved renovating and constructing a new addition for a semi-detached house, originally built in 1883, situated in the Little Italy area of Toronto. The principals in the firm, Christian and JP, were consistently available, professional and lovely to work with. Our project was seamlessly organized and consequently the renovation and addition were on time, on budget and produced a final result that exceeded our expectations. This is especially surprising given the age of the house and is a testament to the accuracy of their initial project assessment, budgeting process and skill in working in older homes. Hiring Bellsmith Carpentry and Renovation was undoubtedly the best decision that we made in the course of our project. They bring a professionalism and pride to their work that is a rare find and undoubtedly the reason for their success.

These guys are a real pleasure to work with, Christian, JP and their crew are consummate professionals and will put to rest all the horror stories you have heard about contractors in Toronto. Where to start? Well, I''l summarize this way: on time and and on budget and no corners cut. From the first interaction with them everything was transparent, from the quote onwards. More importantly, the quality of the work is outstanding; these guys care about their work, its longevity and the craft they practice. The attention to detail was incredible and they figured out how to do some very tricky things in our place and made them look amazing. When I have another big reno to do I'll go to Bellsmith again and wouldn't have the slightest hesitation in recommending them.

I heard terrible stories about home renovation and I am happy to report that they didn't hire this company. Christian was on time, on budget and did excellent work. My Family and I lived in the basement of our home during the renovation and not only was everyone involved skilled and professional they are all lovely people. Everyone Christian hires is at the top of their game. In addition the work site was always clean and orderly at the end of every work day. I am loving my new home and had a great experience with this company from process to final product.

I hired Bellsmith Carpentry & Renovation as one of the contractors for a total main-floor gut job that included all new gas, electric, water, and heating ducts, straightening exterior walls, brand new high-end architectural windows and doors, staircase structural work. On top of this, following an architect's plan, Bellsmith added high end finishing, countertops, custom millwork, and an extremely challenging precision tile-job in our newly enlarged showpiece bathroom. Throughout Bellsmith worked with good humour, professionalism, and courtesy- befriending our family and kids in the process. THey provided accurate budgets, informed us of how on-the-spot decisions would impact timelines and budgets so we could make informed decisions, and went the extra-mile to ensure a quality job was done even in the areas that no-one would see. Bellsmith took pride in accomplishing tricky framing and duct-work to ensure cold-air returns in all rooms of a house that was never designed to have them, for example. I wholeheartedly recommend Bellsmith Carpentry for your renovation; these guys are one of the best.
