we put up a notice shortly before christmas and initially heard from four different companies. after we outlined the job three of them didn't bother to call back.
however, dan looked at the problems, quoted a price. came yesterday and recaulked around the flashing, then patched and plastered the affected ceiling.
dan was thorough, quick; took time to walk us through what might have happened with the chimney, and cleaned up afterward.
we will be hiring dan for further work as it arises.
