Siding Vancouver

I am so happy with my "new" 1960's home. I decided to replace stucco/wood siding with Hardie. A few companies came round but they wanted to cut corners using wood trim instead of Hardie, use vinyl or not do the full job I wanted. Then I called Siding Vancouver and met Stefan, what a breath of fresh air! His ideas matched just what I wanted for a price of the others doing half the job. He gave references to help us pick the colour and discussed all the details. I hadn't thought about all the extra work around finding rotten wood, disturbing exterior lighting/wiring, gutters etc. but they were very fair with any extra work and had some great suggestions. I really felt they wanted to do a good job and not just make money, as it turned out they did a great job for an amazing price.

The quality of the work done is terrific and it was performed within the agreed budget and timetable. What I appreciate most about Stefan and his team was the courtesy in how they treated us as customers. This goes beyond just 'being friendly' or polite. I work from home and they adjusted their schedule to make it easier for me to get things done. When we asked for a change to a piece of the project they did it without haggling or trying to avoid the work. This courtesy extended down to little things as well - like when I needed to get my frightened cat out from behind the shed and the crewman willingly stopped work and stayed very quiet so the cat would come out. I never once felt uncomfortable with any of the crew so I would recommend Stefan's team to anyone.

Pros: competitive prices. Excellent work. After a small delay waiting for the siding, the company got to work quickly. Stefan was prompt with replies. Would recommend to friends. Cons: site was left a bit of a mess, debris and mortar left in yard, cleanup promised, but never fulfilled.

I hired SidingVancouver to complete a job another siding company failed to complete. Chris and Stefan were prompt in getting their guys out and working through the Christmas holidays to get my project completed.

It's not often I turn to the internet to hire a contractor. Sadly none of our family friends knew of a Siding Company in Vancouver.
